Homeowner / Domestic
Whether it is a home extension, renovation or remodelling, loft or garage conversion, garden office, energy efficiency improvements, or a new build dwelling, we can guide you through the process and manage any necessary planning and building control consents required. It is important for us to understand your motivation and aspirations for your project so we are happy to start all projects with an initial chat before providing a fee quotation to progress.
Developer Housing and Masterplanning
If you have a site you are looking to develop for residential use, we have the skills to help. Our experience covers sites varying from a few dwellings up to larger sites of 50 units or more including apartments in both the public and private sectors. Our knowledge of local planning constraints combined with our site and construction experience means we are well versed in market and affordable housing requirements (particularly Welsh Development Quality Requirements), Public Open Space and Sustainable Drainage, and can advise you accordingly.
We can provide initial feasibility studies to quickly evaluate site constraints and viabilities, through to a full design service. We can assist if you are a Contractor looking to provide a package deal and we have a range of our own housetype plans designed to comply with Welsh Government Affordable Housing Requirements which can be utilised, or alternatively we can design bespoke solutions to suit your requirements. We are currently working with five of the North Wales Social Housing Providers, Local Councils and a number of private developers so keep an eye out for these projects elsewhere on our website and on social media.
Community & Commercial
We love projects that are a bit different. From the outset our passion has been developing sustainable community led design, and since formed we have worked on projects within our local community including schools, sports clubs and a village hall. We can help you get a project up and running with feasibility layouts or hosting consultation events to get the community involved, or provide a full design service as required.
Our experience also covers commercial sector, whether it be offices, warehouses or something different we have the expertise to assist you through the design process and link you with local Consultants to provide any additional services required.
Agricultural
With a strong link to the local agricultural and forestry environment, Saer have worked on a range of construction projects including sheds, farm buildings, equestrian facilities and assist in farm diversification. We can assist you with the design process and advise on the relevant regulatory requirements.
