Self Contained Annexe

The proposals involve the demolition of an existing dilapidated domestic garage and the construction of a new self-contained residential annexe in our Client's rear garden to house their elderly mother who was looking to downsize.  We recently gained planning consent for the new annexe which will allow her to live independently close to her family who will be on site to provide any support she requires. 

The contemporary design is open plan internally with a large feature window to allow a view out along the driveway to the sea. The annexe has been designed to meet the Client's high sustainability aspirations with black timber cladding to minimise impact when viewed from the street.
