Planning Approved for Rhyl Rugby Club
We are delighted to have recently received planning approval for the redesign and extension of Rhyl Rugby Club. Having relocated to their purpose built facilities in 2018 Rhyl Rugby Club quickly found they had outgrown the building due to its successful use by club members, other organisations and the general public.
The largest element of the proposal was for an indoor training barn located near the existing changing facilities. The training barn will provide a dedicated indoor training facility for club members that can also be used by local schools, community groups and other sports organisations. A smaller single storey extension provides expansion of the function room and additional ancillary spaces to assist in the management of the facility.
Saer supported the Club with the development of the brief and business case to ensure the necessary funding can be secured. As lead consultant we also managed the planning submission and worked closely with the local authority and consultant civil engineers and landscape architect to overcome a number of challenges to secure a successful planning consent.
