Ysgol Ein Harglwyddes

We are currently out to consultation on this fantastic new primary school in Bangor, North Wales.

[NOT JUST] architecture and Saer Architects have put their heads together to collaboratively design a new 21st Century school that will be a sustainable place to learn in, and to learn from for future generations.

Using a fabric first approach to reduce energy demand through high insulation levels, low air permeability and well considered junction details, the school is designed to meet the Welsh Government Net Zero operational carbon requirement.

Through careful selection of materials that are super robust, easy to install and have low embodied energy, the project will also reduce embodied carbon by a minimum of 20%.

This is a great team effort by all involved, and we are proud to be doing our part to support Sustainable Communities for Learning in Wales.
