This project involves remodelling and extending an existing cottage to accommodate the Client's growing family allowing them to continue living in a location they love.

The proposals include a two storey extension with glazed elevation providing a new ground floor living space and first floor master bedroom benefiting from the expansive views over the surrounding countryside.  The new ground floor level is dropped slightly below the main house to provide improved ceiling heights and increased natural light into the space.  A new metal clad porch links through to the existing building where the layout has been remodelled to suit modern family living, including an open plan kitchen diner. utility and downstairs WC.  Upstairs alongside the new master bedroom and ensuite the reconfigured layout provides a further two bedrooms, a bathroom, home office space and built in storage.
