We're delighted to be supporting Pen-y-ffordd Community Council with exciting plans for a new Community Centre in the heart of the village. Originally built as the village school in the late 1800's, in recent years the building has been home to the local Youth Club whilst under the ownership of Flintshire County Council. Recognising it’s importance as a local community hub, the Community Council are in the process of completing a Community Asset Transfer, and have ambitious plans for its future.

The proposals include a complete internal refurbishment of the existing youth centre, along with two contemporary rear extensions to provide a new hall, café, and modern changing facilities for community use and the local Scouts Club. The proposals aim to provide a range of flexible and adaptable quality spaces to support local community activities.
